In case you haven't been to the OCUA site lately, Wednesday indoor applications and cheques are due by October 8th. Here's the link to the page. www.ocua.ca/node/6726

What are you guys all signing up for? Is Elite all it's supposed to be or should I hang out in IID and pretend I'm a superstar?
Is anybody playing Fridays? I hear that's a lot of (drunken) fun.

I'm probably playing IAD and definitely playing Friday nights at Lansdowne. I know Dev and Deirdre are both in for Fridays too. I was trying to convince Sandra too. Jules and Aggy were 'thinking about it'. CC should be in too. Late night is where it's at.

Why not apply to them all? this year you only have to send 1 cheque. go to the tryout for elite, and the tryout for advanced too. I mean, what have you got to lose?

are the tryouts held at different times then? I believe they are at the same time and place, but there are two nights worth of tryouts, and i believe each application questionnaire asks if you are applying for the other wed night leagues. the coordinators will all work together to ensure that players end up in the best spot. Depending on how well they know your ability, they may request that you attend both an advanced and elite tryout, or they may ask you to attend an advanced and intermediate tryout. Put yourself out there - you never know what will happen.

Yeah, that happened last year. Some people chose to train hard and work on their skills. Others played at Lansdowne and had a ball, pulling out their hammer-to-the-endzone skillZ!

I plan on taking full advantage of the indoor scene to practice my air spikes and spikes on people.

By 'spikes on people' you mean throwing it straight into the stomach of women who are making the walk of shame, right?
